LEED certification: the seal of sustainability in our centres

#LiveablePlanet

Our strategic pillar Liveable Planet is a reality that is built every day, with every decision. On this path, LEED certification has become tangible proof of our commitment to the planet and to people.

And we've achieved an important milestone: all of our major sites are now LEED certified.

This progress has been possible thanks to the incorporation in 2026 of the Farma plant in Esplugues, which joins a network of centres already recognised for their high sustainability standards. These include Ferrer's Headquarters in Barcelona, with LEED Platinum certification, as well as the Offices of the Chemical Plant in Sant Cugat, the Logistics Center in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu and the Offices of Ferrer Mexico, which have obtained LEED Gold. In turn, the expansion of the Sant Cugat Pharmaceutical Plant has been distinguished with LEED Silver.

Each certification represents a way of designing, building and managing spaces that minimize environmental impact and maximize people's well-being.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), awarded by the US Green Building Council, is one of the most recognized sustainable building certification systems in the world. It assesses key aspects such as energy efficiency, responsible water use, sustainable material selection and indoor environmental quality.

From offices to industrial centres, having this certification means making a real commitment to the future. At Ferrer, this approach is directly aligned with our purpose, which drives us to generate a positive and measurable impact on the environment. Because we believe that every space counts.
