Fighting for social justice across our value chain
How We Do Business
LinkUP
A common model for working under the same sustainability goals and standards.
To create real change, we must connect every link in our value chain in a single movement. This is where we generate most of our impact. For this reason, years ago we began to work to transform it into social and environmental issues involving all the third parties with whom we interact.
We want to extend our purpose to our entire value chain
Relational phases with our stakeholders in our value chain
LinkUp builds a journey towards sustainability for our business partners to join forces together to multiply our impact.
The purpose of this phase is to raise awareness and have the necessary information to make informed decisions and make responsible commitments to business partners. In this stage, ESG criteria are integrated from the beginning of the relationship, assessing risks and establishing clear expectations in terms of sustainability. It is expected to identify the most relevant partners and define a common framework for action. The improvement actions focus on strengthening the mechanisms for analysis, contractual alignment and updating of ESG requirements.
This phase aims to increase transparency and build trusting relationships through an objective and verified ESG assessment. Work is being done on the collection and exchange of non-financial information, as well as on the integration of sustainability as a key criterion in the selection and due diligence of business partners. This is expected to better understand the potential impacts and the level of relevance of each actor in the value chain. The improvement actions are aimed at improving the processes of evaluation, data analysis and definition of collaboration strategies.
The purpose is to actively collaborate with business partners to drive continuous improvement of their ESG performance. In this phase, awareness-raising, training and accompaniment programmes are promoted, as well as the exchange of good practices and the development of shared capacities. It is expected to foster a culture of collaboration and co-responsibility in the value chain. Improvement actions include defining action plans, setting performance targets, and advancing joint decarbonization and sustainability initiatives.
This phase aims to guarantee the effectiveness of the program, the fulfillment of the commitments assumed and the generation of positive impact. It focuses on verifying, tracking, and evaluating the ESG performance of business partners. It is expected to ensure coherence between the commitments made and their actual implementation. The improvement actions focus on strengthening control, auditing and awareness mechanisms, as well as adjusting the model to ensure its alignment with strategic and regulatory objectives.
LinkUp is based on the life cycle of our business relationships, and in each phase it sets the levers of influence or change that we use to cause a chain reaction of good practices, driving improvements in ESG performance in our value chain.
