At Ferrer we believe that our work as a pharmaceutical company must generate more environmental value than it expends. We engage with our value chain to challenge the way things have always been done and to lead the way towards greater sustainability. We want to ensure that our planet stays liveable.

Accelerating climate action

In the face of the climate emergency and its consequences on the lives of millions of people around the world, inaction is not an option.

We have a Climate Transition Plan with the aim of reaching Net Zero by 2050 throughout the value chain. An objective that is specified in goals validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with short- and long-term milestones.

Decarbonization of operations

We aim to involve 100% of our business partners in our climate action through the LinkUp for Climate program.

Sustainable Mobility

Sustainable mobility is a priority not only to reduce associated emissions, but also to improve the efficiency of the workforce's travel, strengthen the safety and well-being of Ferrer workers and generate a positive impact on the local environment.

In 2025 we reduced our carbon footprint by 12% in scopes 1 and 2, compared to 2024.

Protecting Natural Capital

Our lives are deeply connected to the natural world. Any activity we carry out has an impact and protecting and regenerating nature is imperative to assuring the wellbeing of the people who inhabit the planet.

We seek to contribute to an increasingly respectful relationship with natural capital: we know that we are interdependent beings, among ourselves and within ecosystems, and that is why we focus on caring for them.

Circular Economy

We promote eco-design to minimise waste generation, and we improve the final management of waste that cannot be avoided.

We are redoubling our efforts to minimise the environmental impact of our activity and the polluting emissions that directly affect the environments where we operate.

We have a Self-Protection Plan that establishes the protocols for any environmental emergency in our facilities.
