At Ferrer we want to bring about real changes for society and, in this sense, we believe in the power of collective organisation. We understand that donations are a key tool to generate a social and environmental impact that contributes to achieving a fairer society. And we are committed to a systemic and transformative collaboration that empowers people and promotes equal opportunities.
In this sense, for years, we have made numerous contributions to social and environmental projects through our Foundations and other associations aligned with our strategic pillars.
For the past five years, we have allocated an average of 50% of our profits to social and environmental projects.
Through the Ferrer Foundations, we contribute to fight for social justice by supporting initiatives that foster equal opportunities.
Making a difference through activism
At Ferrer we firmly believe that only through the effort and involvement of our entire team will we be able to use our business to fight for social justice.
That is why we believe that it is essential that all the people who work in the company experience the purpose in the first person and that their participation transcends the walls of the company.
Social Activism
The corporate volunteering that we launched in 2020 has evolved into social activism that seeks to get Ferrer people actively involved in relevant social causes and problems, mobilizing collective action to transform systems and realities, recognizing that true change is only achieved with empathy, individual commitment and solidarity.
We believe that an activist is coherent and combines empathy, social sensitivity and critical awareness of the problems that surround us. He doesn't just observe: he translates discourse into action, mobilizing to drive real change and influence his environment.
Positive impact
Days for good
Every year we celebrate the Days for Good, a global day of corporate activism that reflects our understanding of the role of the company in society. During these days, our people are involved in social and environmental initiatives aligned with our purpose and with Ferrer's strategic pillars, contributing to generating positive value beyond our business activity.
Since 2021, this meeting has become a key event for the entire organization, an opportunity to act collectively, strengthen our culture and transform our commitment to social justice into concrete actions.
JOINING FORCES AND BUILDING ALLIANCES
We also believe it is essential to foster dialogue with our main stakeholders and with different key actors in the community to weave networks that help build the new social model in which we believe. For this reason, we work to ensure that our daily actions and decisions transcend the borders of the organization to actively contribute to generating a fairer and more inclusive society.
When wills are added, the impact is multiplied. Under this premise, at Ferrer we have set ourselves the goal of influencing other people and organizations in our environment so that the result of all the small actions combined is increasingly greater.
We are part of strategic business groups and are building long-term partnerships to multiply efforts to fight for social justice.
B Corp
Since 2022 we have been an active member of the B Corp community, a movement that currently integrates more than 8,000 companies around the world with the mission of using the strength of the company as a driver of social and environmental change.
We were the first Spanish pharmaceutical company to obtain this international certification and, in 2025, we have revalidated our commitment and reached 136.4 points, making us the highest scoring B Corp pharmaceutical company in the world.
